Everywhere we look in our community, our nation, and our world, we encounter opportunities to be in mission. We are dedicated to serving in many capacities and places and consider it an honor to partner with local and international ministries for that purpose. Join us in this Great Commission (Matthew 18:19-20)
We serve on Monday nights, twice a month at First Baptist Church-Kannapolis. Individuals or groups can sign up to purchase food for the meal, prepare, serve, or clean up. Contact Kaye for dates available to volunteer to help at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Through this partnership, we help provide school uniforms, school tools, as well as prepare and deliver backpacks with food each week during the school year. Donations for food for the backpacks are always needed. We also put up an Angel tree for KIS students. We will announce times for collections for school tools and uniforms when needed. We also serve a “New Teacher” breakfast at the beginning of the school year. Contact Scott Barger or the church office to see how you can help in this area.
We have a group of people who gather together at least once a month to work on projects to help others in the community. The group has remodeled and prepared a “teaching house” for CCM for a needy family. For more information contact Daren at email@example.com.
Contact Cindy at firstname.lastname@example.org for information on getting material and making a shawl for use at hospitals, nursing homes, and for individuals in time of need.
A ministry of Cooperative Christian Ministry -This is a shelter for homeless families in our community. It is located on Sunderland Rd in Concord, NC. Journey will be looking for volunteers to prepare and serve an evening meal and provide 2 volunteers to spend the night at the shelter. We will be serving for 3 consecutive nights every few months. To volunteer, contact the church office.
Each year we give bikes away to people in need of transportation and have given over 300 bikes away in 5 years. If you would like to get involved by helping repair the bikes or donate, please contact Mike at email@example.com. Also, we are looking for a more permanent location that will allow for space to make this more a ministry to the community.
This is an intentional, missional effort focused on reaching out to the lost, unsaved and unchurched in various communities within the Kannapolis region. Although we do help provide for physical needs on occasion, our primary focus is to reach people with the Hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Contact Gene Correll at Eecorrell@yahoo.com
